Short description Eucalyptus campanulata open forest to woodland on igneous rocks

Description Eucalyptus campanulata, E. deanei, E. caliginosa open forest to woodland +/- E. biturbinata +/- E. banksii; localised areas of E. radiata, E. saligna, E. obliqua. Occurs on Mesozoic to Proterozoic igneous rocks. Hills and mountains. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 15a).

Special values 13.12.1: Habitat for threatened plant species including Caladenia atroclavia, Grevillea scortechinii, Phlegmariurus varius, Hibbertia elata, Persoonia daphnoides, Leionema ambiens, and Boronia amabilis.
Fire management guidelines SEASON: Autumn/Winter (Apr-Aug). INTENSITY: Low. INTERVAL: 7-12 years. INTERVAL_MIN: 7. INTERVAL_MAX: 12. STRATEGY: Burn < 30% of stands in any year, burning patches each year whenever possible. ISSUES: Try to prevent high intensity fire.
Comments 13.12.1: Moister parts of bioregion. Also occurs on small outcrops of Marburg Sandstone north of Dalveen. Limited logging occurring. Fragmentation and altered fire regimes may affect viability. Blackberry infestation common.
