Sparse shrub layer and sparse ground cover of annual and perennial grasses. Occurs on Tertiary and Quaternary outwash plains; red-brown earths and red-brown solonetz. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 26a). Vegetation communities in this regional ecosystem include: 1.5.8x1: [RE not in use]²: This vegetation community is now mapped as 4.5.6x2c. Acacia georginae low open woodland. Occurs on flat plains with deep sandy red earths and sandy surfaced texture contrast soils. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 26a). |
