Eucalyptus pruinosa low open woodland with shrubby understorey dominated by Acacia spp. often with Ventilago viminalis, Corymbia aparrerinja, Grevillea striata and Atalaya hemiglauca. Moderate ground cover of annual and perennial grasses. Occurs in depressions in Tertiary plateaus and on shallow residual Tertiary surfaces overlying limestones; red-brown earths, non-calcic brown soils and shallow loams. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 19c). Vegetation communities in this regional ecosystem include: 1.5.5a: [RE not in use]²: This vegetation community is now mapped as 1.5.13. Eucalyptus pruinosa subsp. pruinosa (silver-leaved box) low open woodland with shrubby understorey dominated by Acacia spp. often with Ventilago viminalis, Corymbia aparrerinja, Grevillea striata and Atalaya hemiglauca. Moderate ground cover of annual and perennial grasses. Occurs in depressions in Tertiary plateaus and on shallow residual Tertiary surfaces overlying limestones; red-brown earths, non-calcic brown soils and shallow loams. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 19c). 1.5.5b: [RE not in use]²: This vegetation community is now mapped as 1.5.10b. Swampy low open woodland of Eucalyptus pruinosa subsp. pruinosa with dense shrub layer dominated by Melaleuca viridiflora and Acacia spp. and ground layer dominated by Triodia bitextura. Occurs on areas of impeded drainage adjacent Tertiary plateau surfaces. Not a Wetland. (BVG1M: 19c). 1.5.5x1: [RE not in use]²: This vegetation community is now mapped as 1.5.14. Corymbia aparrerinja open woodland, often with Corymbia terminalis. A second tree layer of Eucalyptus pruinosa is usually present with a mixed shrub layer and ground layer of tussock grasses and Triodia pungens.
