Petroleum and gas, and mining environmental authorities register
The petroleum and gas (including coal seam gas) and mining environmental authorities register provides details about licences (environmental authorities) issued for petroleum and gas-related and mining-related developments. The environmental authorities include conditions requiring the developments to conduct these activities in an environmentally responsible manner.
Each environmental authority has a unique permit number, prefixed with four letters, starting with 'EP'. Petroleum and gas environmental authorities will always start with the letters 'EPAN', 'EPPG', 'EPSX' or 'EPVX'.
Only site specific mining environmental authorities are available from this register, and will always start with the letters 'EPAN', EPPR', or 'EPML'.
If you do not know the permit number or tenure number, you can choose to list all permits. Alternatively, you can browse for permits by:
Not all environmental authorities are currently available for download—environmental authorities may be in the process of being uploaded or those being amended or processed may not yet be available. In relation to mining, only site specific environmental authorities are available for download.
If you require a copy that is not yet available online or are having problems accessing an environmental authority, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
